Before joining the BIS, Blaise Gadanecz worked for the central bank of the French Overseas Departments and Territories and in the Bank of England's Financial Stability Department. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Wales and a master's degree in banking, finance and insurance from the Université Paris-Dauphine.
