Outreach programme

The FSI offers a comprehensive annual programme of events, tailored to different audiences and areas of expertise. Participants in FSI events (by invitation only) include global standard setters, central banks, supervisory authorities and regional central banking and supervisory groups.

Types of outreach events

High-level meetings (HLMs) are attended by heads of financial authorities to discuss regional policy priorities, and the latest international regulatory and supervisory developments.

PIMs are attended by senior officials of financial sector authorities to discuss technical and implementation aspects of international standards and sound supervisory practices.

Conferences bring together a large audience of financial sector authorities to discuss issues that affect different financial sector domains (eg banking, insurance, securities).

Virtual seminars are attended by technical staff of financial sector authorities to learn about specific regulatory and supervisory topics; these typically consist of two 60-90 minute sessions.

Webcasts or webinars consist of one 60-90 minute session on topical regulatory and supervisory topics and open to all financial sector participants.
