Aaron Mehrotra

Before joining the Monetary Policy section, Aaron Mehrotra worked as a Principal Economist in the Emerging Markets unit, as a Senior Economist in the Macroeconomic Analysis unit and in the BIS Representative Office for Asia and the Pacific in Hong Kong SAR. Prior to joining the BIS, he was adviser in the Bank of Finland Institute for Economies in Transition (BOFIT). His research areas of interest include monetary policy and economic policy in emerging market economies. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.
