Jeffery is mainly responsible for the FSI's online courses and FSI Connect. He also reviews FSI Connect tutorials and authors FSI Insights, primarily on insurance, technology and climate risk topics. He shares responsibility for delivering the FSI's outreach events programme. He represents the BIS in the IAIS Standards and Supervisory Practices Committee. Prior to joining the FSI, he was a member of the IAIS Secretariat supporting international standard-setting initiatives relating to financial stability and insurance groups. He held several actuarial positions at the Central Bank of Malaysia and is a Chartered Actuary (Fellow) of the Institute of Actuaries (UK), Actuary SAA (Swiss Actuarial Association) and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary. He holds an honours degree in actuarial science from City University, London.
