Carola Müller joined the BIS in 2023. Previously, she held positions as a research economist at CEMLA and the Central Bank of Norway. Her research interests include financial intermediation, banking competition and financial stability. Carola holds a PhD in economics from Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) and a MA from University of Göttingen, Germany.
