Berenice Martinez joined the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in 2016, and has worked at the BIS Representative Office in Americas (Mexico City), in Asia and the Pacific (Hong Kong) and the BIS headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. Prior to her tenure at the BIS, she held positions at the Mexico Antitrust Agency and the Bank of Mexico. Berenice holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
