Before joining the BIS, Violeta worked as a data scientist on project Mercurius at the BIS Innovation Hub Eurosystem Centre. Her expertise lies in the empirical analysis of decentralised finance markets and quantitative research in the field of banking supervision. Violeta holds a master’s degree in International and Monetary Economics from the University of Bern.
