Tirupam Goel

Tirupam Goel joined the BIS in 2016. His research and policy analyses span a wide range of topics such as banking regulation, inflation expectations, macro-financial stability frameworks, financial inclusion and digital currencies. Tirupam's research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking, the Journal of Financial Intermediation, the Journal of Corporate Finance and the Journal of Banking and Finance. He holds a PhD in economics from Cornell University, and a bachelor's and a master's degree in mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.
