Priscilla Koo Wilkens is an Adviser at the BIS Innovation Hub Swiss Centre, a role she assumed in September 2025. She joined the BIS in 2022 as a Senior Economist in the Innovation and Digital Economy Unit of the Monetary and Economic Department, where she worked primarily on tokenisation and digital payments, contributing to policy analysis and research on emerging financial technologies. Before joining the BIS, she held several leadership positions at the Central Bank of Brazil, including heading the Pix Management Division and co leading the technical development of the Brazilian Credit Information System. Priscilla holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo and a master's degree in Public Administration, with a concentration in Economics and Finance, from Cornell University.
