Pietro Patelli joined the BIS in 2021. He completed a rotation at the Representative Office for Asia and the Pacific in Hong Kong SAR and has supported the work of the Financial Stability Board since 2024. Previously, he worked in the Securities and Financial Market Data Division at the ECB. He holds an MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge, an MSc from the Barcelona School of Economics, and an MRes from Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
