Liang Yu is the Head of the Credit Risk Management unit at the BIS. Prior to her current role, she served at the BIS Representative Office for Asia and the Pacific. Before joining the BIS, she held the position of Director at S&P Global in Hong Kong and previously worked at China’s banking regulatory authority in areas of prudential policymaking. Liang holds a doctoral degree from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
