Jose María joined the BIS in January 2015 after having worked in the Capital Markets and Financial Structures division at the ECB. At the BIS, he has worked on a variety of research projects related to financial markets and financial stability, and in the Basel and Hong Kong offices. He holds an MSc in finance from the University of Buckingham and is a CFA charter holder.
