Jonathan Beissinger joined the FSI in 2025. Prior to joining the BIS, he worked in horizontal banking supervision at the European Central Bank and in the Directorate General Economics at the Deutsche Bundesbank. His work focuses on banking regulation, capital requirements and financial stability. Jonathan received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Regensburg and a double master's degree from Goethe University Frankfurt and Université Paris Dauphine-PSL.
