The objective of the programme is to enhance the understanding of issues of strategic importance for Central Banks through collaboration with BIS economists on high-quality research.
Selection criteria for participants in the CBRF are:
- the policy relevance of the proposed research topic to central banks and the BIS
- the applicant’s research track record and publication list
- the potential for collaboration with BIS economists
