First published in 1931, the BIS Annual Report included the Bank’s financial statements and an overview of its activities. Later Annual Reports also discussed global economic trends. Since 2018, the BIS has published its Annual Report (on BIS activities and financial performance) and the Annual Economic Report (commentary on the global economy) as separate titles.
