The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision today published answers to a fourth set of frequently asked questions (FAQs) on the Basel III definition of capital. These aim to promote consistent global implementation of Basel III, by providing clarifications and interpretative guidance on the Committee's standards.
Today's publication updates the third set of FAQs on the definition of capital, which was published in December 2011.
