The Board of Directors of the Bank for International Settlements has decided to propose to the Annual General Meeting to be held on 5 June 2000 the distribution of a dividend of 340 Swiss francs per share for the financial year ended on 31 March 2000.
This dividend will be payable on 1 July 2000 to shareholders registered in the Bank's books as at 20 June 2000.
