Hiren Jani is the Head of Artificial Intelligence in the Information and Technology Services department at the BIS. His work focuses on shaping how artificial intelligence is governed, adopted and scaled at the BIS. Since joining the Bank in 2013, he has held progressively senior roles, building and leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams. Prior to his tenure at the BIS, he spent much of his career in the commercial banking sector. Hiren is also a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
