The Bank's major wartime documents (click on 'see the list' at right) have now been microfilmed and are available to researchers for consultation as from Tuesday, 8th July 1997. The microfilms can be studied on the BIS's premises every weekday from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., except on the days of Board Meetings.

The opening of other BIS records more than 30 years old is scheduled for early 1998.
