5th Annual DC Fintech Week

Virtual event, 18-21 October 2021

The BIS is teaming up with the Georgetown University Institute of International Economic Law (IIEL) on DC Fintech Week. Since 2017, DC Fintech Week has brought together a wide audience – from non-profits and technologists to entrepreneurs and regulators – to engage one another in a meaningful dialogue about fintech and the future of finance. The conference brings the best and the brightest to Washington, DC for discussions spanning the fintech ecosystem: crowdfunding, online lending, cryptocurrencies, cybersecurity, AI, open banking and more.

This year, the conference will again explore cutting-edge developments in fintech policy and payment infrastructures. This year's conference themes will be Innovation, Inclusion and Integrity.

After a phenomenal turnout and a truly global reach of last year's virtual Fintech Week, the 5th annual Fintech Week will again be primarily held virtually – enabling the event to connect with tens of thousands of fintech leaders beyond the DC beltway on a global scale.
