The Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI) provides this glossary of payments and market infrastructure terminology as a reference to the standard terms and definitions used in connection with payment, clearing, settlement and related arrangements. cooperative arrangement (domestic/international, with respect to FMIs)

A formal or informal arrangement organised by central banks, market regulators, and other relevant authorities to cooperate with each other, domestically and/or  internationally (that is, on a cross-border basis), in order to support each other in fulfilling their respective regulatory, supervisory, or oversight mandates with respect to FMIs.
