Flora Budianto

Monetary and Economic Department

Flora Budianto joined the BIS in 2019. Her research interests cover monetary policy and macroeconomics, with a recent focus on challenges for monetary policy in a low interest rate environment. She holds a PhD in economics from the Free University of Berlin. She received her undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Munich and her master's degree from Humboldt University Berlin. During her PhD she visited the European Central Bank as a PhD research fellow.
