Before joining the International Data Hub, Bat-el Berger worked in the International Banking and Financial Statistics unit, supported the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision's quantitative impact studies and worked on research projects in the BIS's Asian Office. She joined the BIS in 2012 after having worked at the International Monetary Fund and the Dutch Ministry of Finance. She holds an MSc in economics from the VU University in Amsterdam and an MSc in behavioural science from the London School of Economics.
