Asian Office research

Over the period 2017-18, research in the Asian Office will focus on two overarching themes related to financial stability and monetary stability.

  • "Asia-Pacific fixed income markets: evolving structure, participation and pricing". The papers will be presented at a conference in Seoul in November 2018.
  • "Central bank policy under changing inflation dynamics: challenges for Asia-Pacific". Preliminary research outlines will be presented at a workshop in the third quarter of 2018.

Research projects are often undertaken in collaboration with central banks and supervisory authorities in Asia and the Pacific, including members of the Asian research network.
