In December 1987 the Basel Committee on Banking Regulations and Supervsiory Practices issued a consultative paper containing proposals for international convergence of supervisory regulations governing the capital adequacy of international banks. Comments on the proposals were limited from national banking associations, supervisory authorities in non-G10 countries and other interested parties. This document outlines some comments.
