Vladyslav Sushko

Vladyslav Sushko joined the BIS in October 2011 following the completion of his PhD in International Economics at University of California Santa Cruz. His dissertation research primarily focused on the relationship between carry trade, financial capital flows and volatility in foreign exchange markets. During the course of his graduate studies he developed forecast models for a major credit card company, conducted research for the World Bank and has held visiting positions at the University of Tokyo and Institute of Innovation Research at Hitotsubashi University.
