Nicholas Vause

Nick Vause joined the BIS in September 2010, on secondment from the Bank of England, where he had worked in the Financial Stability Directorate for ten years. At the Bank of England, he helped to design some of the exceptional policy initiatives that were implemented in the United Kingdom during the recent financial crisis. Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Warwick. His research interests include asset pricing and financial frictions. His work has been published in the Journal of Central Banking as well as BIS and Bank of England publications.
