Neil Esho is a Senior Member of the Basel Committee Secretariat, which he joined in April 2006. Prior to joining the BIS, he was Head of Research at the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). Prior to joining APRA in 2001, Neil was a Senior Lecturer in the School of Banking and Finance at the University of New South Wales. He holds a PhD in finance from the University of New South Wales.
