BIS Graduate and PhD Fellowship Programmes
We offer two primary programmes - the BIS Graduate and PhD Fellowship Programme - for professionals in the early stages of their career to gain experience at an international financial institution. Selected candidates work with leading professionals in a highly rewarding, international work environment that gives them exposure to a wide range of fields, including economic research and analysis, banking services, technology and more.
Opportunities for the BIS Graduate Programme are usually advertised in spring, the ones for the BIS PhD Fellowship Programme at the end of summer. All openings will be listed under current vacancies as they become available.
The BIS Graduate Programme gives recent and soon-to-be graduates the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals from around the world in a unique environment.
The programme is aimed at students who are currently enrolled in a PhD programme in economics, finance or related fields and who wish to develop a research project at the BIS.
